Amaia ("we") is clinic management software. This page explains, in plain language, what information we handle, how we use it and how we protect it.
Who we are
Amaia is the trade name of Asaf Dotan, a business registered in Israel (Osek Murshe no. 200836609), Har Miron 2, Herzliya, Israel. He is responsible for the information described here and is the contact for any privacy request.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, email, phone, clinic name and number of locations, when you request a demo or open an account.
- Clinic data you enter into the product: appointments, client records, payments, messages and campaign results. This data belongs to your clinic, not to us.
- Usage data: pages viewed and how the product is used, to keep the service running and to improve it.
How we use your contact details
We use them to schedule and run your demo, to reply to you, and, if you become a customer, to run your account. We contact you by phone, text message or email only as you agreed when you sent the form. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to any text, or write to us, and we stop.
Information you send through this site is stored in Amaia's system, on our servers in Israel.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent or share your data, or your patients' data, with anyone for their own marketing.
- We never use your clinic's client list to market to other clinics.
- We never train AI models on your patient records.
Patient data
Patient records in Amaia are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is controlled by per-user permissions, and clinical notes lock once they are signed. Everything is backed up daily with restore testing, can be exported by the clinic while it subscribes and for at least 30 days after it cancels, and is deleted at the clinic's request once it confirms its export is complete.
We are working toward HIPAA compliance ahead of our US launch, and we will tell you exactly where things stand before you sign.
Cookies and tracking
The English pages of amaia.health (under /en) do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and they load nothing from third parties: fonts, images and code are all served from our own server. When you send the demo form, your details go to our own system, as described above.
Your choices and rights
- Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, by writing to us.
- We do not sell or share personal information.
- Marketing messages that clinics send through Amaia always include a one-click unsubscribe, and we require clinics to honor it.
Children
This site and our product are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
